Baked Brown Rice
Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups brown rice
- 2 1⁄2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Boil water in microwave.
- Add rice, butter, bay leaf, salt, and pepper to a 9-inch glass baking dish.
- Pour boiling water over rice, cover with foil, and bake for one hour.
