Ingredients

  • 2 1⁄4 cup whole milk
  • 1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1⁄2 lb breakfast sausage
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown breakfast sausage in heavy skillet.
  2. Add flour and stir until the sausage is coated and the flour takes on a blonde color.
  3. Add milk and bring to boil while stirring constantly.
  4. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Season to taste.
